And seriously? 70 hours on the first day? How the heck did you pull that
off?
People are saying that the game is addictive. So, we had a group of boys (about 8 of them) playing 20 games of Banana Cheaters in a row. All trying to break each other's record. I was playing with them most of the games.
I guess it all depends on the number of testers you have. For my own project, recruiting testers was like pulling teeth, so it got started incredibly slowly. If you've got a boost like that right off the bat, I imagine it would help alot. Due to the very nature of the popularity system, growth of a game is exponential, so the initial push is key.
To ask a more serious question Rod; what is this? Can you give us a small description of the map? I'm not even sure if it's released on EU (and even if it was I wouldn't really be able to check it out right now), yet I'm still curious as to what this all means, basil.
Yeah, Sixen wrote that one. I wonder how it plays....Like do you level up and learn abilities like DOTA? Do the aliens spawn in waves? O.o I should probably just play it...lol

as someone said before "It's so stupid it just might work" is the kind of map I'd classify this as. Don't take it as an insult or anything, I really like the idea. I see it as practically a co-op survival map in which you're trying to be better than your teammates.
Publish it on EU, I'll make sure it's played on Map Night.
Thank you all for being warm and receptive (except Mephs). :)
People are actually enjoying Banana Cheaters, lol. The map got 70 hours played in its first day on Battle.net :D

What music is that btw?
Oh gods. I thought my deal with the Pope to burn you as the devil would work out.
Damn it. New plan.
Which one? the country one? I got on youtube, it's called something redneck.

From the video, think it has levels and waves.
yup.
People are now debating whether this is a co-op game or a competitive one. Sadly, this debate I must not join. But you do co-op and you do compete.

But you didn't bring a map with you. And it's nice to see you back.
@RodrigoAlves: Go
Welcome back Rodrigo, and Vexal. Admittedly, I was beginning to wonder what had happened to the two of you.
Once again, very interesting and quirky map. I`ll most certainly give it a try on my US account.
