Anyone else facing this issue? I updated the map yesterday, and players stuck at downloading it, unable to join lobby. The only chance to play it on NA is to join it on EU to download it. Tried to reupload today - same situation.
had 3 upload fails until it worked finally, but the same issue, ppl cannot download it. i think we had this once already. we can just wait for them to fix it.
Yeah, some people can't, and I though I can't too, cause on EU it's getting uploaded for like 5 seconds, and then it starts uploading to NA, and it took like a minute of doing nothing on 37%, but then it jumped to 100%, and then no one can download it. Maybe it has't been uploaded, but the game thinks it has?
Is reducing filesize - the only way to fix a map if it has suffered from this undownloadabilityness? Right now it's back to being uploaded fast, so probably ddos attack is over, but the issue remains.
Also, I could move some stuff from map to the mod file, but then ppl would have to redownload the mod, which has much bigger size than the map now. What if the mod will be cursed too after update?
All I know is that <1mb maps work fine, as well as any map uploaded prior to the DDoS. The rest I can only guess at.
The only thing I could suggest with any confidence is to make a second version where all custom assets and terrain are removed or replaced with default assets, then stick a big red text block on your loading screen explaining the situation. Otherwise, I don't think there's any solution except to wait until Blizzard apply whatever fix they need to on their end.
Edit: Was about to suggest posting on the bug report forum, but I see you've already done that. There's some guy in it recommending that you rename your map. This was not needed last time, and I doubt it is needed this time.
A lot of map makers suffered from this. The conclusion that was reached was that due to the release of the new World of Warcraft expansion the US region servers were overloaded in general for all BattleNet 2.0 services. It seems that the map publication system was especially affected with publications either outright failing (as above) or not being processed for several hours (during which time no one can download the map as it will get stuck at some arbitrary percentage). The only solution so far is to publish your map and then wait several hours (over 12 in some cases) for the map to be processed and to become downloadable.
I am guessing the issue will resolve itself on Monday as the volume of WoW traffic will be reduced due to it being a weekday.

Yea, it worked, thanks.
Also, blizz dude answered in the thread on bnet forums, so guess, it will be fixed one day.

I haven't been able to upload to NA for the past few days.

Blizzard got DDoS'd the other day. This happened the last time they got DDoS'd too.
Reduce your file size to under 1mb and upload. Of course, that's not going to be viable for some maps, but it works!
@TyaArcade: Go
