This has gone a bit offtopic. I ask you to stick to what the thread is about.
Anywho, ontopic. I was actually thinking about this myself earlier when I saw a couple of threads about it right next to eachother on the list.
I don't want the forums to be flooded by the threads, but I'm not gonna force people to stop talking about it (I'm not saying that you're saying to stop people from talking about it (Even though the title of the thread says so..)). I
I'll leave you for now with "Note taken" and keep it civilized.
I agree with Molsterr. Worst than threads that complain in the people who complain about who opened those threads. Worse than that is the people who complain about the people who complain about who opened the threads, which is what I am doing now. In other words, the silence is the most polite answer.
If I say I dislike this thread, would I be complaining about someone who complained about people complaining about the popularity system?
Anyway - we're not gonna ban folks for it or anything (unless Six or Vjeux order us to anyway, they'ze the boss), though like earlier mentioned, we'd appreciate if people keep their comments consolidated in as little topics as possible. We don't need these to become the o-boards with twenty different "blizzard stole ma popularity" topics.
Seeing as I haven't really considered any of the topics about it currently around 'unnecessary' for the most part, I haven't locked anything yet. We're all keeping an eye out though, and you can be assured that if it becomes to horrible, we'll throw some locks around. In the meantime - if you're so fed up with people complaining, I reckon you've got a bigger problem than the actual whiners. Either try and work that out, or engage into actual discussion with the haters and prove them wrong with real arguments.
