I got some reviews, my map was 4-stars last time I checked and on 2nd page of top played list. I'm not on my pc and won't be for about a week so I won't be able to watch it as it goes.
But in the original patch notes for 1.5 it said global play was being introduced....
HERE IS WHAT I READ!!!
In the midst of all this great community news, we want to announce some of the exciting things we’re working on this year for StarCraft II. Here's a list of some of the features we are planning to release at or around the launch of Heart of the Swarm:
Multiplayer resume from replay
Global Play
Multilanguage support
Clan/group system
Unranked matchmaking
Multiplayer replay viewing
You can use SC2Localizer, but as I've told in my feedback thread about The Last Hour, some (parts of) words are banished and will prevent your map from being published, so you'll have to change these words manually (by editing the content of your map with the MPQ editor). In my opinion, it's better doing the whole translation than just modifying a few banned words in order to get your map published, but unlike Blizzard we don't have a team of translators around here (that's actually a good idea, we should make a thread about this)...

My point is if I did do translations it's gonna result in a duplicate. If Blizz is going to unlock access to other regions, or collab all the regions whatever way, it would be much better if they allowed 2 or more locales in 1 published map.
The review system is nice. Some of the reviews have great feedback, some are completely useless garbage. It would be helpful if data about the maps was available on the sc2 website, so I wouldn't have to log into the game all the time.
The map page could include all the basic info that's visible in-game, plus:
advanced statistics (how many played, how long, did they finish it or quit)
the reviews in a more readable format (an RSS feed would be cool)
Btw. I uploaded my year-old map just for lulz and testing, now it's on the front page in top rated with 100+ reviews. Pretty good for a singleplayer map with zero replayability =D

But we CAN have more than 1 locale in a map. My map has enUS and ptBR right now. With arcabe beta it's even easier because you can do it from within the editor.
@SoulFilcher: Go
If you change stuff from outside your editor, you break your map as it becomes unable to be loaded and the editor blames your sc2 installation.
@Ahli634: Go There's no more need to do it from outside the editor. Uncheck the locales you don't have, save, then check again the ones you want to add. The original locale text files will be copied to the new locale, then you can translate the entries in the editor.

Well once the beta is over, it's going back to region-locked. So you won't be seeing foreign players on your map.

I like the review system :) It's one of the main features I've wanted for a very long time. I'd just like it if it was possible to reply to reviews
I do agree with that, and some sort of putting multiple localization texts in one map would be nice, for map-makers.
or is it already possible with current editor..?
