I Have had it with the stupid video ads that pop up in the corner. When I pause or mute the stupid thing it just keep blabin stuff I really couldn't care less about. I like to see what maps are when I see the videos but can't hear a darn thing. I can't stand it! Just get rid of them or make it so I can mute it PLZ!
Create a map/asset here on mapster to get the "author" rank and never see an ad on mapster again =D
Tbh, until I heard it mentioned in threads, I didn't even know ads existed on this site xD
I've been a mod now for a while and just found out that uploading a map gets you no adds. So I just uploaded a file for the Newbie Wednesday and killed the adds. But until I knew that, I used ad block (Google chrome), worked great.
Author = No adds
Site Staff = Adds

Firefox with NoScript is essential browser software. I wouldn't even touch Chrome despite a love for Google until it has a NoScript style addon.
