It seems to be no reinforcements, no soldiers and even no weapons in this Battle of Blizzard vs Value. And since we can not expect the help from Blizzard. I am going to start this project, let us build our own develop team.
If any of you have model requests, I will do them all, I will be your backup force instead of Blizzard on art side. I will be as strong as 20 guys if I have to be.
Everyday I can finish a character model or a new UI system or 10 FX models or 2 ships/spaceships. I will finish every request you raise, and last until I can not keep such working strength. It will be a suicide mission, but I still hope this can mean something to our mapsters.
I hope more artists can join this plan and let's found our own develop team to help the mapsters, Blizzard did few things to help them but the truth is we can do all this on our own.
Many good people died on the battle field, so Blizzard please, no more zoldens, no more oneonestars and no more nalos, I hate to see such good guys left.
I need some Terran-styled artillery structures. A fairly small "light" artillery that occupies 3x3 buildspace, a "medium" artillery that occupies 5x5 buildspace, and a massive artillery that occupies 8x8 buildspace.
I have a fair number of character models you could try to make, but they are more complicated to explain. If you do wish to attempt them, I could send you a PM.
I mean, I have a lot of model requests I could list, but you'd be pretty busy for a long time, and I know you have other commitments.
Would you mind having a look at this threat? I'm having problem with the Vindicator model when changing the textures in Blender. If you need, I can attach/send you the textures, instructions and model.

It would be cool if you could get this High Templar separate from the psi link spire as a cool doodad, if i could make cool models i would. I don't even know what people use to make models
Thet is also happening to me when I import the model in 3DS 2011. If I import it without the "Create Skin" option checked, it is imported good, but it's bones are not linked to the mesh.
Since sc2 mods are non-comercial you can sell all stuff you produce elsewhere. This tank model is very high quality, especialy comparing to unity asset store because there are lots of middle-skill modelers there.
I'd like to request a sandy whirlwind, a tornado, and a hurricane (or better yet one model with 3 variations, would make a great doodad). Sorry for all the extra work.
If you have free time and not many requests, I'd like to ask if you could make a model based on the (Dark) Zealot, with heavier armor and a helmet, longer psi-blades (about to the length of a sword/arm length) and a "jetpack" on his back. Thanks in advance! :)
Hmm, I can't tell the difference between the three of them, if you means the color and sand particles, you can add them on the texture yourself which should be very convenient.
Thanks for your suggestion, it will be cool if we can use our creations to get some money and subsidize other mapsters, it may bring us a better environment of modding. But it will take some time to translate them into unity accept format, I will try that as soon as there are less requests.
OK, once I finish IskatuMesk's and another team's requests, I can modify your zealot, it won't be hard, but considering we also need to make new animations and death models, this will still need some time.
Today I am a little tired and not very in state, so I did some easier works instead the harder part, Instead of simulation of PhysX (used for T-90ms death animations) I make an SCUD model. We know that IskatuMesk is a very good FX artist, it will be cool if you can help me making more boom and fire textures so that I can make the missile launch has more sense of reality
Well there is something I made a half joking comment about a while back in another thread, there are lights within the game with glare effects, and from what I can tell there are 4 different glare effects. I was wondering if the glare part of these models could be separated from the doodads so they can be used separately, and replace an actor or a model in the game to be made a doodad that can be placed or attached to something. I myself don't particularly need it right now, but it would be a cool asset to have on this thread :)
