Eh, i still have faith in Blizzard to fix the custom gaming, but I dont think 1.5 is going to do it, blizzard for the most part has been trying to make SC2 mostly an E-Sport, Competitive game play can ruin fun game play aka GTA III with Flying car cheat... lol awesome
But I do have faith in the custom mapping scene, I know I will still be here. Hell why not? aint got anything better to do. I blame Phones for it really, PHONE SHOULD NOT BE A PLATFORM!!!!, lol I hate phones i really do, I wish they would just be deleted from this earth, worse PoS we have ever invented, screw you edison i hate your guts. lol
But if we can get an open lobby list then we should atleast have a chance.
Subsistence has since a while back put their project on hold. But yeah perhaps it will be more intriguing now for them to continue. They did say however, that their development of Subsistence has not been in vain, since they now further expanded their rts-idea to become a game (outside of starcraft) for multi-touch-devices.
Since you're arguing is only going back and forward, why not spend the time to send them an email about what you like and don't like with the new arcade? Do mock-ups, or whatever, as long as you have a valid point with what you are trying to say. It's clear that they do want feedback in the beta phase now, considering they revealed an email address for it. When they decide to roll it the beta out later on the normal servers, it might be too late, or take too long time for them to change it again.
Why do you presume to know what I have and haven't done? I highly encourage everyone to submit feedback. My point has been that if they do screw this one up, that's it. Only a few people will be stupid enough to pin their hopes on HotS if this patch is a failure. Obviously we should all do as much as possible to try and help them prevent that.

Good for them. They got smart and realized that this platform is not worthy of serious development. They aren't coming back. I feel the same way they do and I'll be doing the same thing.
My game has evolved a lot on the SC2 platform. BNET has served to be a good testing ground. That said, I should have began a new platform a year ago.
But who is to say I'm not doing this now? The main thing is raising capital to fund creation. You will hear more about this from me in the coming weeks.
I think there some benefits from learning the SC2 platform that people don't acknowledge. Especially the data editor. The designers of that system have decades of game development experience and it provides a window into their engine. I picked up on a lot of potential optimizations in their design.
The Arcade patch 1.5.0 alpha will be closing for maintenance on Thursday, May 24, but the Arcade will become available again with the 1.5.0 beta in the very near future. Thanks to those of you who participated in this alpha phase, and we appreciate your assistance in helping us craft an epic Arcade experience. Our Arcade team is still hard at work reading the amazing number of feedback emails we’ve received.
There are some exciting new features arriving in the coming Arcade beta, and we look forward to your continued participation as we open testing to more players. See you in the Arcade!
They might, But I highly doubt it, Just because of the size of the patch, usually they will only use files under 100 Mbs, 1.5 is around 500, So I dunno. I hope so too though.

I'm late in the discussion, but do you guys have the Startools or the max plugins?
Whatever you do, wholeheartedly, moment by heartfelt moment, becomes a tool for the expression of your very soul.
@GnaReffotsirk: Go
Nop, last I heard they weren't released yet.
Aww... That's sad news indeed.
