Guess I'll make a High Templar Scientist from the Exiled Tribes, which try to tame Zergs and reseach their habits in connection with the DNA assimilation and hybrids.
Sadly, I havn't found abilities or somethin' yet to get more into the details. Guess I have to wait until everything got copied. ;P
Due to their very flexible and potentially game changing nature, abilities are balanced on a case by case basis directly by the Game Masters. Suggest what you think would be appropriate. An ability is more likely to pass if it simple, based on or stolen from an existing ability, and/or reasonably powered.
In addition, this category works as a catch all for other battlefield modifiers such as flight, stealth, detection, burrowing, transformations, etc.
I anxiously await your character's story. However, please remember that the Protoss GM is in Europe and likely won't be up until very early tomorrow morning.

Zhar Arkae
Biography
25 years before the events of Brood War, it was considered a monster to be a twilight templar of both high and dark energies. However, a young and ambitious templar apprentice dove deep into his teachings. In the archives, he found a crystal containing information on the dark templar. He looked further and found information containing the location of their homeworld, Shakuras. He sought them out and went there himself. There he was welcomed, but could not stay. He had merely a week to learn what he could before the council began looking for him. When his time was up, he reluctantly returned home where he was met by guards. They sentenced him to eternal exile on an abandoned world of Tarai II where he stayed for 30 years. During this time, he taught himself the ways of twilight, a mix of high and dark templar energies. Finally, after much exploring, he found an old and abandoned starship...a shuttle. He took the shuttle to Aiur and there found nothing but destruction and darkness.
He believes he is the last protoss alive, but of course...he was wrong...
Stats and Attributes...
Zhar Arkae is extremely powerful when it comes to psionic spells, incantations, and enchantments. (Psionic abilities, not wizard abilities) He is also fast from training to chase down fast Orkos on Tarai II. (Not for food, for the fact that they eat metal O_O)
Stamina: Medium
Agility: High
Psionic Energy: Extreme
Strength: Low
Weapons Skill: Low
Abilties...
Zhar Arkae has the ability to summon up to 2 shadow clones that are partially illusions and partially tangible. They are a quarter as powerful as he combined. (Both = 8% of him basically)
Zhar Arkae has the ability to cloak himself and can even make himself visible to only 1 person. He can't keep this up forever.
Zhar Arkae may blink to another nearby location he can see.
Zhar Arkae may also siphon the energy from anyone he touches...slowly...
Zhar Arkae has the ability to combine both high and dark energies together to cast a powerful ability. However, the ability may vary...kind of like dice. Usually, this can lead to shielding himself or casting a psionic storm. This drains all of his energy.
Lastly...Zhar is lonely, has no friends that are alive, and wants to make new ones! If you happen to find him, say hello!
Hopefully my hero gets accepted once the GM sees this post.
Hmm... I think you should wait for the character creation thread to be posted (Less than a few hours from this post), and read everything that's in there. Here are some of the things you'll have to change:
This isn't the Koprulu Sector - this RP is in an area very far away and centuries after the bw and WoL events, so all factions and locations in this RP do not appear in the games or novels
No vagueness is allowed in characters (Unless it's plot/backstory vagueness, and that only to some extent), you have to define stats and abilities with numbers
That "dice roll" ability definitely won't be accepted, mostly due to the reason that this is a text based game, there is no way for us to just randomize something. An ability with multiple random effects is practically just multiple abilities.
You're missing a flagship and an army
some advice on abilities: Once I post the character creation thread there'll be a lot more info that can guide you through character creation, but most importantly there will be links to an online spreadsheet with a character stat calculator. The thing is, abilities get expensive, fast. 3 abilities is usually affordable, but the higher you go the more expensive it gets (Non-linear formula for cost). You'll want to have a few, useful abilities. Your hero won't be able to fight armies alone, he'll fight alongside your troops. Think of something that will complement the troops you choose.
300 points overall. Divide it among army, character(s) and flagship :)
Also, it'd be better if we continued discussions in the new thread I opened.
And last thing: The spreadsheet has a chat option that's available when multiple people are viewing it at the same time, the button is in the top right. I'll try to answer all messages I see
Every player gets 300 points to spend when starting out. These points are universal. using 50 on a character means you have 250 left to spend on your tech, supply and flagship (or character).
You earn points through completing missions or somehow seizing property. Points are not a definite currency. For example, you can get points by mining a planet (1 point per post) or you can get points by completing a mission for a faction and thereby improving your reputation with said faction.

EDIT: Ok, an army is actually optional, so you can invest more points directly into a hero character(s). Should be interesting :P
