ya, but you tested that against the AI so it's not valid
I'm answering almost a month late... It took me quite some time to find it again, but I knew there were games from a pro player totally owning his opponents with marines. Here is one, have fun watching!
EDIT: This one is even more obvious when it comes to using marines only:
Training mass marines is more effective when not fighting against AI, because a human player usually won't attack around 6:00 like the AI does. It gives you much more time to put these strategies into place, and time is money...
...If you search "slayers dragon troll" on Youtube, you'll even find more videos of epic trolling from him. He's a pro Korean player so it's not *that* easy to do it yourself, but still, I'm pretty sure anyone can do a great deal of damage with a little bit of training on that specific build order. Dragon can basically win with any kind of Terran unit, from reapers to ravens, even spamming with mass CCs... If anyone needed evidence that Terrans are OP (or the game balance is a joke), I think this is it.
He basically keeps expanding like crazy (5 bases or more, in approx. 10 minutes) and he keeps doing that each time he loses a base (he can, because he has an incredible income very fast). He also keeps spamming the main enemy base with marines (barely upgraded at first) to keep his enemy from expanding or attacking. In the end he owns 10+ bases and countless barracks, while his enemy can barely hold 3 bases. From what I've seen in other videos from Dragon, his opponents usually (rage)quit because, at some point, they don't have any income left to hold. Even players from the Master League don't stand a chance. Dragon just have to keep pushing endlessly with marines, and he wins. He doesn't care about losing units to banelings/colossi/siege tanks or whatever, because he can train them by waves of 50 while the opponent just runs out of resources. In fact, he sacrifices his SCVs to be able to train even more marines, then uses mules by dozens to collect minerals. ;)
Tal'darim purifer ship with invulnerability shields.
It's triggered in mission to deactivate shields when all three nexuses are down... not in this case :)
+ vortex
PvT, immortal/colossi/stalker || siege tank/marauder/battlecruiser ? No blink, yamato, siege etc.
yeah, that works :P I was thinking a toss counter.. Immortals - Stalker - voids? Terran Counter - Viking - BC - Banshee Another protoss counter - Voids - cars - phoenix
:P
