Hey people of sc2mapster. Some of you may have seen the Newbie Wednesday show I host once a week. Yes, it is a fantastically amazing show that you should all watch. But what would make it better? A well-made intro video. :P I'm looking for a video editor who can make me an intro video for the show. Basically, I need an animated Newbie Wednesday logo with a countdown timer below for 15 minutes, followed by a 10/15 (ish) second intro video. The actual 20 second or so introduction bit might be similar to that of totalBiscut, where the show logo sort of 'builds itself'. (If you haven't seen his intro, the first few seconds of video will show you). I'm looking for something that's fairly good looking, so if you happen to be good with AfterEffects, let me know ;)
If anybody is interested, send me a PM and I'll give you some more details. If you do help me out, I will fly to your house and give you a hug in person give you full credits for the video and thank you on the show.
Just a quick notion of mine: Keep it short! I find overly long video trailers to be more annoying than actually helpful for anything. 20 seconds is way to long for my taste.
I recommend to aim for 2 to 5 seconds, actually, since you won't put any vital information in the intro, right?

Maybe 10 seconds then. I think Totalbiscut has the right intro duration, and it's about 15 seconds (I think).

The intro from your Runecraft video, that Also fazes in Newbie Wednesday would be fine.
5-10 seconds are the most fitting length of an intro. I personally use to skip cynicalbrits' intro because of the length.
