Are all of you devs for Nexus Wars or something? I'm just amazed that this forum is full of mapmakers, why would you care to be a mapmaker, its not like there's a small chance in hell your map will survive more than half a week in the "new maps" section in the popularity system. And that's if you're lucky. A REAL mapmaking community forum would be full of complaints about bnet 2.0....
And what would it help to have the forum full of it? (btw there is quite a bit of rage, whine and complaints.)
It's not like Blizzard looks at mapster and suddenly goes "Oh yea.. I think they have a point there. We better fix it. Why didn't anybody tell us earlier?"
The Battle.net forums are full of complaints, too.
Blizz's community dudes have said that they're aware of the problem and that they're working on a way to fix it "soon".
At some point we just don't need any more people pointing out the obvious.
PS: I wonder why Mapster isn't full of complaints about WikiCreole?
Because having a popular map is not the end goal of many map-makers - making something you can be proud of is. It is similar to how you (and other trolls in general) don't actually care about the questions you ask. You care about feeding on the tears they create.
I frequent the battlenet forums (don't really know why) and it's always sad to see people being accused of being trolls just because they have a different view on things. "Troll" became a synonym for "person with a different opinion".

Obvious troll is obvious. Your 3rd post involves wanting to goad us to fill the forums full of complaints/negativity?.
Hmm..Let me think about this one...;)

I guess some people (like me for example) just enjoy creating stuff :)
Same reason weeds grow out of cracks in the pavement.

Let's not introduce this custom to mapster.
