I've gotten great at taking screen shots. But how do you record video? Is the software built into Windows 7? This might sound like a naive question, but I've never had any reason to do this before.
Are they free? My dad won't let me use his credit card anymore and my mom stopped giving me cash and my sister won't give me her phone number or accept my Facebook friend-requests.
Yeah, I have hypercam and it works fine for me, but how do you sync up audio with the video? Do you need a second program to run simultaneously recording a sound file? Id like to do some video tutorials (maybe).
in hyper cam? I went to the sounds tab and it just has a box that says "record sound" which is checked. DO I need to plug in a microphone, or plug a mirophone into the sound output thing?

hypercam is but it sucks, not sure about fraps but im sure it has at least a free trial or light version

no just go to the sound tab and you select which microphone you'd like to use to record osund,

I'd suggest the build-in Record Feature ... its under Triggers ;)

Curse Premiumoh...duh..does it record sound? As usefull as that is, its not good for narrating a replay or something. You would have to add in audio afterwords
edit- oddly enough, when I try to record, I get an err... It says calling movie Start recording is not authorized....??
Its working for me. Might be something on the OS? :O Doesn't record sound, at least it didn't for me. Just the video.
Anyways, suggesting Fraps besides that ^^ Or good talent in regards to Machinima ;)
