I'm tired of melee players getting everything they want while map makers get just "we will think about it." Custom maps should have more priority because in a long-term they are a way more important than melee games.

So, who is man enough to make a map called "pop sys sucks?" I cannot have another map banned.

If you make it, I boost it for you. If we all boost it, we can get that map stucked in the 1st page. Doing that, more people will complain and Blizzard might give some priority to fix de "pop sys."

Blizzard would care about this map being #1 about as much as they care about switching featured maps once in awhile. See what I did there?

this wouldnt work, blizzard doesnt even play custom games,

they went and attempted to feature my map http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/blog/1734673#blog . And yet they didnt even realise they gone and feature another map with the same name by another author, (i am incinerate)

Now this isnt the real problem here, as my map always did pretty okay on the pop list, its the fact that this other featured map does not even WORKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK , the map cant even be downloaded yet its featured, And they still havent fixed this, Why? cause they dont read any feedback threads, complaints on the bnet forums nor even play the custom games for sc2. They have no clue it does not even work.

Much less for some random map with the name "pop sys fail" . I could tell you what they do instead, They wait for maps to get a number of "reports" , and when that number of reports reaches a certain limit, They instant ban it without playing the map. Thats all they do with the custom games.

As Jinx said, Blizzard doesn't give a shit about custom maps. My bet is they select those featured ones randomly and don't care about it anymore.

I think our only way to address this is using the forums. If we manage to get a thread about this popular enough, they'll end noticing yes or yes.

Shall they care, that's another problem, but well.

The fact now is that, if they don't fix this, SC2 will die. I don't give a shit about mapmaking, while in W3 I was making new stuff all the day. Blizzard fails, like they failed with the lack of chats.

I'm working at a sexy quiz map at the moment, where you can get naked woman pictures as a price.
Yeah you can see boobs and some other stuff...

If that map gets on the first page, we will see how blizzard thinks about the popularity system.

Funny is that I got this exactly same answer during Beta Phase 1. They said that Beta Phase 2 would be much more INCREDIBLE thing with the "pop sys"

I agree. I don't understand the meaning between them... whats so much fun about debating? We do it in everyday life....and word wars. I could find any word war flash game on the internet.

When I go looking in sc2 for a mod to play I am looking for unique, not old and dull

Fine. My maps aren't fun, then. What we should call those players who play Debates every day? Why they are doing it? I always thought they were having fun.
