I know Blizzard-Allstars but the mod's name is Blizzard Dota in mpq, so far. How could I find this mod if I didn't know its name?
It seems the dev team of this map has confound Critical Strike with Sword Specialization. Which should not happen to blizzard, since they created the Sword Specialization talent in WoW.
Are you saying it doesn't add the crid dmg to the regular damage? So, ignoring next damage would just ignore the "regular" damage but not the crit damage if that next hit became a critical?
No, it has not been released. They just added some files into the mpq. Its not about the assets or datas, just some map info files and 2 incompleted trigger lib, but enough to me to make out many things.
Like, there will be 8 more offical mods in the next year...
Blizzard.SC2Mod - Art for Blizzard DOTA
BlizzardDOTAData.SC2Mod - Data and triggers for Blizzard DOTA
Wait...Is Blizz Allstars coming in the patch? And to confirm..That patch is the one with the mega editor update with mouse tracking, right? And its scheduled in a few weeks..

I've noticed a prevailing attitude among the level designers, that is they don't share the same prejudice toward triggers vs. data as a typical modder might: it is just another means to an end. It's also possible that the senior coders have more important duties than assisting the Blizzard All-Stars project, which more than any other mod looks to be less for the benefit of the modding community and more as an actual product for the millions of end-users.

Blizzard.SC2Mod - Art for Blizzard DOTA
BlizzardDOTAData.SC2Mod - Data and triggers for Blizzard DOTA
Chef.SC2Mod - Art for Aiur Chef
Ghost.SC2Mod - Art for Dilling's Ghost map
Left2Die.SC2Mod - Art for Left 2 Die
Smash.SC2Mod - Art for Hayes' Smash map
Stariablo.SC2Mod - Art and data for Stariablo
StarJeweled.SC2Mod - Art for Star Jeweled
Could you extract some art images of those maps, or there isn't any?
And anyway, could you extract the images for the achievements, portraits and decals? with those, we can see if they're adding new stuff for real. There's .txt's speaking about achievements for custom maps, having access to the images would let us know if they plan on implementing them or not :).
I'm sure their highest priority was to make a perfect critical strike system for a custom map for StarCraft II while they have other more important projects they are probably working on.

There is no new images, they also deleted Mod logos imported in patch 1.
I would think these mods they announced a while back were the attempt to look at the editor from an end users perspective. I think they mostly had time for it right after their work on WoL was finished and HotS was still in a very early development stage. I would assume that they have started working on HotS maps and these mods have become of secondary importance.
Many people needlessly bash the skill of Blizzard level designers while not taking into consideration the actual limitations they have to work with. They have to make RTS-type maps which need to be perfectly polished in a specific time frame. We on the other hand get to create whatever stuff we like, whenever we like. Many of these ideas are very cool but rarely do you ever see anything well polished.
I analyzed the trigger lib of Blizzard Dota in 1.2.0 PTR Patch 3.
And find that blizzard just do critical strike by damage the target again using the same damage effect.
That's bad. What if the target has a buff to absorb next damage? Damage twice =/= critical strike.
It seems we won't have a offical data-version critical strike in 1.2.0
That means? Crit dont work with a vanguard? btw, call it Blizzard-Allstars.

That's pretty bad, lol.

That is helpful, ghost and star-diablo sounds interesting

No blizzdota wont, but Aiur Chef, Starjeweled and Left 2 Die probably will.
blizzdota is probably gonna be release with 2 another map to make a trio, ghost and star-diablo
What the heck is star diablo? Lol
Their campaign scripters are so bad. They got this rather awesome tool to work with and don't even know how to uese it.
But it's interesting that stuff's already in. Someone could possibly release their maps before they even go public? ;)

I have made a preview post about it.

@OutsiderXE:
i've never seen anyone bash blizzard for their maps. all the missions in WoL were good fun with great variance.
the story however...
