I reinstalled starcraft on my computer because it was woefully behind on patches since I only use it for the editor.
However, whenever I start a sc2map file, it gives me the message while loading "HotS/LotV license needed to load required dependencies. Continue anyways?"
I didn't have this issue before and when I start a blank file, log in, then open the map file there seems to be no issue. What gives?
Be sure to check out the extension mod: Hots Custom Map support on NA and EU, Despite the name it greatly expands the roster of options for the default 3 races and is updated all the way to NCO.
- In Bnet the main menu music sounds like as if I am in WoL (yes I have WoL too)
- Unless I tick 'remember account' it asks every time I enter the editor to verify my account
- Starting the editor does NOT start the blank/new document with Void dependency, it starts with Liberty aka WoL dependency !
Also having this issue, and it appears to be affecting the Terrain editor. I'm getting all sorts of invalid doodad placements on a current ladder map and the terrain is invisible.
Anyone know of a fix for this? Does reinstall work? I'm guessing we're going to have to wait for a hotfix patch, but if anyone has any solutions, please share.

Curse PremiumSame issue, same situation, pretty sure blizzard broke something with 3.2. It is minor though, as just opening the editor before prevents it.

Me too. thought It was something I did because I switched to SEA servers to play Nova earlier. Tried repairing or reinstalling. Nothing worked.

Curse PremiumLogging into bnet in the editor (via Manage Published Maps, etc) fixes the issue.
Unfortunately this seems to be necessary every time you open the editor...

1. It works only if you open it through editor, not immediatly map. 2. mp3 are not supported anymore.
(maybe you already know it)
Traysent has commented elsewhere in this forum that MP3 issue is a BUG, not a drop of support.
