I'm looking to build a database of questions all about the Arcade, mapss, users and sc2 sites. This is for a Trivia map I'm making and I'm looking for help but at the same time it may just help you out too :)
The only criteria right now is must be multichoice, with 4 answers, 1 being correct. Here are some sample questions:
The map Kobold Tribes can be played at maximum with how many players?
3v3
4v4
5v5
6v6
Which map is the DotA of Starcraft 2?
Aeon of Battle
Aeon of Dominion
Aeon of Storms
Aeon of War
Which map is the most popular on the arcade?
Desert Strike
Mafia
Marine Arena
Squadron TD
Dark Revnant made which of these maps?
Element TD
Mafia
Risk Legacy
Troll Trbies
Give me some question ideas!! Make on about yourself or your map!
Dota was based on the WC3 map Three Kingdoms which became Aeon of Strife and was then downgraded from three to two teams in dota. So in short even dota itself is not an original concept.
Your third question will be dated within a week. What the hell is Mafia???
Was thinking of melee abilities or ones from the campaign.
Like what ability type do the following units share in common (broodlord and carrier).
Or what type of driver does the mover of the reaper use.
Maybe some questions on the blizzard easter eggs found in the data editor. Like what are the three celebrity models found in the variations of the one junk pile or name the abandoned blizzard projects found on the junk cube or what game is found on the shelf of the laboratory cupboards.

yeah I know, and actually most TDs were ACTUALLY inspired by the blizzard mini game that was included in RoC :P Gem TD was pretty unique and awesome, though it might have been vastly inspired by both winter-maul and the original poker TD. man I miss WC3 customs sooo many monumental things came out of it.
and my question was actually trolling :P, but yeah it could be made into a decent question haah.
Yeah Squad TD was actually Legion TD(way better),
Gem TD was BKs Gem TD
, AoS, was DOTA!!!! yeah... though AoS is pretty terrible in itself and has no chance of competing with anything really.
and zealot frenzy was footman frenzy but it just doesnt have that feel, even though the stats are pretty much the same, it just doesn't have that feel to it.
Yeah sadly the majority of page 1 is nothing but Exact Replicas that were poorly created for Sc2 with little to no additions, and in some cases removable of features.
That being said, players will always want to play what they know... and as long as they can easily join in a game of what they know on the first page it will never begin to improve..

Most TDs are inspired by WinterMaul's one for WC3, forget the one that inspired the rest.

Rather have questions on game mechanics or abilities.

@DrSuperEvil
Game mechanics would be a bit difficult as you'd need good pre-existing knowledge of the map. But if you got examples?
I don't think anyone has ever claimed Dota being original.
More questions anybody?
