New Muta evolution and new model for the "Nydus Dragon". It seems the old one (dragon / destroyer) is gone, I guess we should "salvage" it just in case blizzard decides to scrap it completely.
EDIT: I was wrong, the other model wasn't removed.
No they dont, I talked to someone at blizz about it a few months ago, and they said that there are major problems with doing it, They are considering making it so we can link maps together on battle.net.

Really? Who did you talk to?
As far as I know, it's been said in interviews that it's something they want to do in the future, but it's not prioritized. Also, someone already cracked the editor or something to support 512x512 maps. If I recall correctly, it was playable in multiplayer without a big change in performance. The problem is that you cant use it in battle.net so they used some cracked version I think.
It seems that, based on error messages I'm receiving, Liberty mods cannot be used in conjunction with Swarm Mods. Therefore, it would be impossible to include models from Liberty Campaign (such as Swann) in a map that depends on Swarm and/or Swarm Multi. True or false?
It would be great if we could use WoL maps and save them on HotS with the new dependencies, I think I received some errors when trying to do that/ How about using WoL mod w WoL campaign dependencies on Hots?
@jcraigk: Go Blizzard said they wouldn't allow campaign mods to be used in conjunction with melee mods.
I just made some tests. You can't use melee mods together, but you can use both campaign mods together. And you can use a campaign mod along with a melee mod, even though they're not form the same version (i.e. WoL camapign mod with HoTS melee mod).
sometimes I think blizzard is stupid... You know how many maps this is going to break? imma have to change mine now....:P otherwise my map would break instantly.
@Taintedwisp: Go I created a thread in HoTS bugsa forums about it, feel free to join. I agued that map makers already know dependencies can cause problems if mixed incorrectly and that they could make a tutorial for newbies, but blocking us from mixing them is stupid.
@Taintedwisp: GoHere. Yeah right now I can't move SC Expanded to HoTS because I can't add the Swarm dependencies and can't remove Liberty dependencies, and since I can't add them together I'm bound to Liberty.
I already started working on a HotS version of my project. The WoL one will remain WoL-only. I imagine we're going to see a lot of "Classic" or "Liberty" versions of arcade games alongside their new HotS versions, each with their own variations on content. It's a shame, but Blizz probably has their hands tied from a technical perspective.
Little off-topic here, but, is the Queen model they added back in June still in the game? Like, at all? In the editor or anything? It was a very sleek and darker-looking queen with team-colored sacs on her abdomen. It showed up in a few battle reports then they reverted it back to the Wings model. I don't care what ends up in melee either way, but I'm really hoping they didn't gut the model from the game in its entirely.
Can anyone find this in the editor? I don't have the beta and I'm not sure how to look even if I did. And no, it's not the broodmother model, but it's shaped to look like something broodmothers could have evolved from. More streamlined, smaller, and less spiky.
@jcraigk: Go That's not my case. My mod can't be simply restarted with HoTS assets. I want to add them to what I already have in WoL and I'm not going to keep a WoL-only version after HoTS release, but right now I'm pinned to the ground because I can't add any HoTS dependencies to my mod.
@deleted_4832600: Go It's not in the editor or in any mpq files. I believe that model will be used by Za'Gara or maybe a Queen evolution in the campaign.
That's a shame! I really hope they find a use for it, because I'd love to have it. Za'Gara's model is basically that but a lot bulkier and spikier. I'd like to have both. The more options the better, I say.
@Juxtapozition: Go
its already been brought up, but unfortunately, its not a real high priority right now. :P
if you post on mapster or the custom games(battle.net), One of the blizzard devs will likely see it .

Does anyone know if Blizz has any plans to add support for 512x512 maps in HotS? (or any size larger than 256)

Hmmm, You mean so that you have to load again to get to the next map, and not be able to walk from one to the other right?
That would definitely be nice, but not sure if I'd use it for my map, as it would force me to split a random order of challenges into two sections.

Well what i was told was it had "Complications" :P. But that was months ago,
By talked to someone at blizz i just mean a reply to a post :P.
If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions, post them on the battle.net forums :P.

Link? this is a rage!!!, lol, Seriously, this is really going to screw me over... My Mini Chop Farms is going to be De-Balanced, and broken...

Thanks for checking.
