What im looking for is how to make my map available for the community.
So i start with blizzard's pages, and only answer i get is mapster, then i get here, and i only get that this is a part of Curse, and they are the actuall distributor, then i go to curse and click on upload maps, and i come back here and only find my self in the "I want to make a map and learn #/"¤#"& code".
Wow really helpful, i've been making maps for starcraft since 1997... i want them to be seen, because i put a lot of work in them.
And i end up on a fools erand running in loops on these misguiding B"&#¤!&!& pages
I'm sorry, but people no longer download maps on the internet to play them, mostly because that doesnt allow them to be played online. To play a map online, it has to be published to battle.net with the editor, and then to play it you either need to know some people willing to play it with you or the map has to be popular.
And as Ousnius said, you go to "maps" and click "Create Map" or whatever its called to make a project page, then upload your map to it and itll be available on curse and sc2mapster as soon as one of us mods approves it, if that is what you are looking for.
Uploading on Mapster is a bit over the top, sure, but is it really that hard? You just fill in multiple forms. Some of those are even good, as it forces you to actually describe your map when uploading it instead of allowing people to toss any sort of random shit in here. Now they can still do that, but at least it'll come with a sign saying "This is shit", allowing us to avoid the project.
You just click Create New Map and fill out the information. Then you attach your map file once it's created, using the menu on the right side. This is mostly useful for single player maps, because multiplayer maps won't work locally.

He may not find the upload button, but that doesn't mean that he's too dumb to make a good map.
I could give you thousands of examples there :P (no offence)
Using the editor properly requires being able to look through and find links (basically when data editing), among other things. If he can't find how to upload maps to a website... he probably isn't good with the editor and so the map is likely to be bad. Not attacking him. Just find it funny.

Have you ever even loaded page 1 up?
Anyone can make a good map, but it takes a real expert to spend 6 months making a shit map.
Is it just me or is it just unnecessarly complex to upload your map?
I mean, i wanna press a button once loged in that says "upload map" then filebrowse, and then click click. done.
File->Publish->Accept is too much?

This is all you have to do.
Battle.net 2.0 is not made to "get your maps seen". It's made to show the maps being played the most, and nothing more.

Thanks for your enlightenment.
I will find another community where this might be available.

You want to upload it to sc2mapster?
Go to Maps -> Create a new map (top right corner). You should probably make a thread for it @ forums, too.
edit: this was my 100th post ( ・ω・)

Also, try to be friendly once in a while.

lol if he finds it difficult to upload a map, despite the editor being a shitload more complicated to use, that map's probably terrible
