I can't figure anything out. I need help with the Behemoth ai and the Mapcraft itself. I am a total noob and i apologize but please help. i have a mac as well.
Ok so I had a beta key and I played up until the closing of the beta, so I believe its the latest patch. I am trying to play some in the downtime. I haven't altered my game at all. When I download maps off this site, I save them and then drop them into sc2 launcher or through MapCraft. The maps load but they are fogged up and nothing "loads" I guess.
Sorry if I am being redundant but I wanted to make sure we were on the same page.
I am pretty sure I am on patch 16, how would I check, and If I am not how would I update?
For Mac, don't keep your map files in the Downloads folder - many report it working when placed either in the game dir or the user directory. Make sure all your maps are in their own folder as well.
The YABOT maps should definitely work just fine with Mac, I've yet to see a Mac user who can get Mimic and Behemoth working?

You need to run it with MapCraft.
i tried it won't work.
Are you on 10.5.8? Motive said there's a problem atm with the Open Command on the 10.5.x terminal, he's working on a solution.
it just won't open the map or anything. the custom games won't load either
Motive released an update for 10.5.x users, redownload and check it out.
I am having a similar problem.
So now the beta is down and I am trying to play some of the AI maps offline to get some practice.
Everytime I load an AI map (example; Behemoth), The physical map loads but nothing else, its all fogged up.
I tried to use the MapCraft utility for windows and I was faced with the same problem after launching it from that program.
I have a feeling there is an easy fix, but yea I'd love to play but I think I am missing something.
You're on Windows, not Mac, correct?
I am using 32bit Vista.
I've also now tried opening the file through the editor and using the "test document" command.
That shouldn't happen.. Are you running the latest version of the game? Patch 16.

That's really odd, not really sure why that happens. It happens for any map you play?

@Sixen: Go
yes it did happen everytime I played, I reinstalled and repatched, everything fine now, thx for support and gl.
Seems like you may have had a corrupt Archive or something along those lines.
Ive been trying to play offline with Behemoth's TvR. However when I open the map, the AI doesnt load correctly, so it just mines.
As soon as the game begins I get the error A script logic error occurred Player # Race. Invalid mainstate.
Im running Mapcraft 1.5 and SC2 beta 0.17. on OS 10.6.4.
Ive read that the location of the map brings up issues so I have tested it under the SC2 folder, the Blizzard folder on My Docs, on the desktop, etc.
Any help please?
SC2 Beta 0.17? That build is old, make sure you update to Patch 16.
