So I actually don't mind casting some things for you, an hour or two a week isn't going to make any difference at all to my schedule, and I touched on this aspect before that once Tofu is released I want to write up a shitload of tutorials because I have a tonne of knowledge that I do not mind sharing.
Keep in mind, I am a lot 'nicer' on skype/casting than I am on forum posts, aka, I won't troll whilst casting.
So what I want to know off you guys is; if you could have me cast say for an hour or two a week, what would you like to learn?
I was thinking perhaps along the lines of;
1) Design Thought Process (How to visualize map design, and utilize your time most effeciently).
2) UI Design, from pen and paper, to photoshop, importing, dialogs, etc.
3) Advanced scripting, learning how and why I script the way I do, and the highs and lows of doing such.
Any other thoughts or suggestions?
I was also thinking if I did this, each week I would want to do a weekly spotlight on a cool custom map I found in the week before, if only to help you guys get some popularity boosts. Either way, if I do this or not, I will more than likely do the youtube tutorials later on, it won't effect anything, just give you guys something now so you don't have to wait.
How about going through and finding some commonly asked questions? Like maybe something like "how to play an animation backwards" or "how to modify footprints" or "how to use a workaround to have a unit have more than 32 abilities". "How to make a good hit detection system" would also be a good one I would think.
Also, I promise this was a legitimate 100% troll free post, because you have agreed to not troll as well :P. (Well at least not on the stream lol)
Well I can always help with data though launching non homing missiles that fragment as they travel is a pain. Also have you already covered how to dupe stuff properly? I often see that question being asked again and again because some actors are not copied or they change the unit Id and everything becomes unliked etc.
Well I am roughly 12 hours ahead of the Eastern seaboard of the USA, so if you want it at say 8pm at night, its just 8am for me, which is pretty reasonable. Obviously EU time is a different ballpark, and I am not keen on doing casting at 5 am again.
That's the time that zelda does, although half hour early, and he doesn't get too many viewers. If you're ok with that I'm sure people will watch the VoD of it. I know I'll watch depending on what day.

Yeah - obviously, if you'd take on the triggering tuesday, we wouldn't expect you to stay up 'till 5 every night. I'd say you should just cast in the evening from 9 to 10, your time - that's also what we've done so far for pretty much every region, I think. That makes the US time a bit complicated, but is around midday for EU.
Just forget about those European folk- US is more important anyways ;)
I'd really like to see galaxy code tutorials. We don't have that many of them. Would be really great for you to go over that (at least in part). How to put your own scripts into a map, etc..

What time is 9-10 in Europe? 9 would be good for me still.
9-10 CET, which is the time the civilized European countries use (it's basically all of Europe except the Brittish, Portugal [which doesn't have any gamers] and Finland) is GMT+1. With US ranging from GMT-5 to GMT-9 or such, that means 9 'o clock CET can be anywhere between 11 AM and 3 PM in the US, depending on what area you live in. For SEA, it's fairly terrible - anywhere during the evening in Europe means you're talking 4-5-6 in the morning there.

Trolololol ask me to teach data ...
Actually what you posted are the kind of questions I want to ask people.

I really like your 3 points. I'd definitely be interested in this!
What you posted sounds pretty good to me. I'd be interested in seeing some script, instead of just triggers. Make a triggers/script tuesday :D
But now the question is will he be able to do it at a time people would watch?
