I am unable to open any of my maps I created prior to the patch if I am opening it with the Terrain editor open. Thankfully, the having only the Trigger/Data Editor open works fine, which means I can copy it over to another map. However, I'm wondering if it's just something funky with my maps or if everyone else is also having this issue.
i just had this happen to my map, i made no sudden changes to it, an now it wont load, even a already published version of the map, one that worked just a moment ago gives me the same error. i cant open it no matter what editor windows i have opened or closed... anyone know how i could salvage the data, triggers, an terrain (biggest question) an import them into a new map?
After a little bit of investigation, I believe the Terrain files have been changed in the new patch. I'll update you guys when I know more. As far as salvaging data for now, just save your map as an .SC2Assets file (iirc that's what it was called) and it will save each part of your map separately in a folder. Then just replace those files within another map.
