Dialogs always sit in front of the game interface. If you created your interface using SC2Layout files, you will have to add the backgrounds with SC2Layout files as well.
If that is the case, and you add the backgrounds using SC2Layout, then RenderPriority is your friend.
I've got this custom UI;
And I want to add a dark background behind the CommandBar, the life, energy and shield, and behind the box to the right.
How can I do this? I tried using a dialog, but I cant make it lie behind the buttons /:
Looks nice, but a question first, are those hard coded UI files or are they dialog? That will help me help you.
