Im thinking of making an UI transition between original and my redesign in game with triggers if possible.
in a picture all in red area stuff that i dont need to displayed at the time while in yellow is more for few buttons to be used or even relocated and remade, using custom size button texture.
If not possible then at least how make working hidden command panel buttons keyboard shortcuts.
hmmm how at least to hide background of all bottom frame (metal stuff) but leave those buttons, minimap, stats with triggers (hide and show if possible) or any other way... then will have to make a illusion of it existence.?
You can use the action "Show/Hide UI Frame" to hide specific UI frames. There's only so many frames you can hide this way, so if you need to hide a specific frame or element that's not available there, you can hide it through layout files.
We redid the UI for runecraft (example) using this show/hide action as well as custom layout files. Is this sort of what you're trying to do? Hide the metal background bits but leave the actual UI pieces?
Here's an example of how to hide UI elements using layout files. In this case, I hid the buttons on the minimap.
<!-- This layout file hides minimap buttons--><!-- First, I open the minimap panel frame--><Frametype="MinimapPanel"name="GameUI/UIContainer/ConsoleUIContainer/MinimapPanel"file="GameUI"><!-- Next, I open each button and then hide it--><Frametype="Button"name="PingButton"><Visibleval="False"/></Frame><Frametype="Button"name="TerrainButton"><Visibleval="False"/></Frame><Frametype="Button"name="ColorButton"><Visibleval="False"/></Frame></Frame>
