Hey guys this is a very newbie question but it is frustrating me alot. I made a dialog with its items blah blah blah then i did set dialogue item text to - BLah blah blah but it covered over the dialog name and did not give me an option to do offset to put it below the dialog item, so as to give an idea of what this dialog is for?? any suggestions thatnks.

Try doing a dialog label, it'll let you offset from there.

NP, you should come up with a naming system for your variables, though. Such as DIA = Dialog, to shorten the length. No reason behind it other than aesthetics.

if i have a dialog with alot of components i do it like this

Variable Dialog "MyDialogName"

Variable DialogItem "MyDialogPieces[0-Num Dialog items in dialog]"

• Action Def (Create MyDialog)
  • Actions
    • create dialog
    • set MyDialogName = last created dialog
    • Create dialog item(image) in MyDialogName
    • set MyDialogPieces[0] to last created dialog item
    • Create dialog item(label) in MyDialogName
    • set MyDialogPieces[1] to last created dialog item
    • Create dialog item(progress bar) in MyDialogName
    • set MyDialogPieces[2] to last created dialog item

• Action def ( Update MyDialogLabel)
  • Parameters
    • Player (type:integer)
  • Actions
    • set text MyDialogPieces[1] = "hows it going" for player(Player)

• Action def ( Update MyDialogImage)
  • Parameters
    • Player (type:integer)
  • Actions
    • set dialog Image(MyDialogPieces[0]) = "Image Path" for player(Player)

• Action def ( Update MyDialogProgressBar)
  • Parameters
    • Player (type:integer)
    • Value

    • set progress bar( MyDialogPieces[2]) current value = Value for player(Player)

What does the progress bar do?? And what does that do that doesnt make much sense
