Hey. Im looking for what i have described in the topic. That mean if unit would have on their command tab in the upper left corner ability "a" and other unit would have ability "b" in the same command tab's upper-left corner slot, then they would use their respective abilities. Is it possible? Im asking cause if i would have 300 different units with different skills, then its really pain in ass to trigger them one by one.
It is but you have to play around with catalogs, as abilities are saved as a list (abil1, abil2, abil3) and then those abilities have column and row values. You'd need loop for each unit to check thru all abilities and see which of them got column=0 and row=0.
You'd need sth like this for every type of unit currently selected:
Yeah, you can get something (AbilityID in most cases and its command order) out of it... but I couldn't get it to work in any way, there is no function in ability commands like use ability with ID =/
The "Set ID" ability field lets you type in a string identifier for any ability. If a unit is ordered to use an ability it doesn't have, it will try to execute an ability with the same set ID. This is how, for example, giving a burrow order to one zerg unit will order other types of units to burrow, even though the burrow ability is different for each one.
So, for all the abilities that you're going to use in slot "A" then make the set ID "A", etc. Then when you order an ability to use any of the A-slow abilities, it will try to use whatever its own A slot ability is.

Oh thanks, sounds promising. But how about abilities that have "sub-abilities" like "barracks train"? I would need to make many copies of barracks train ability then? Or am i missing some more optimal solution? :)

I THINK it should return ID of ability command in top left position of 1st card.

Woah... again black magic! Thanks, but how would then look the execution trigger?
