Is it possible to say combine 2 text variables so they have a line break between them. Example say I was making a list on a dialog label and I wanted:
Var 1 / Var 2 / Var 3
to appear as
I tried just var 1 + line break + var 2 - but this causes it to appear blank. Any ideas? Thanks
I have a trigger that works like how you seem to want yours here is a section of it.
SetDialogItemText(Dialog Item 1, (CombineTextMultiple((FixedToText((UnitGetPropertyFixed(Unit 1, c_unitPropLife, c_unitPropCurrent)), c_fixedPrecisionAny)), "/", (FixedToText((UnitGetPropertyFixed(Unit 1, c_unitPropLifeMax, c_unitPropCurrent)), c, (PlayerGroupActive()))
it shows its hp in a dialog like 169/200 I have somewhere around 13 situations that use this kind of layout and all work just fine. if you need me to explain better just tell me.
@Fullachain: Go
"<n/>" is the newline entity in text so you could say
Here's line one<n/>and here's line two<n/>and here's line three
I would use Combine Text Multiple and just type a literal carriage return into the spots where you need newline. It's probably fastest way.
Perhaps your label is not tall enough to show the text and that's why it's blank?
