lol this TPS has been around forever. I used it to start work on my second project. Currently i'd half to say there are a few things that need to be improved for this engine but over all its a great choice.

How can i assimilate this impressive trigger to AIR units? i mean, how can i set the height of air units in a way, so i can shoot UNDERneath them??
any ideas?? =)
Well I can't do it myself but I was kinda thinking that you could add a vertical dimension somehow. In most TPS engines you can already miss by shooting too high.

solved! i put the "TraceHeight" to Global variables. The Damage effect of the "Shoot" trigger only happens on Units with the Mover "AIR" if the current TraceHeight is 2.1 or above.
I first used values like 5 or 4 as minimal traceheight, but strangely, the TraceHeight is rarely above 3, even if u shoot high in the sky, and has nothing to do with the "enemyHeight" value, which should be around 6 - 6.4...
No we can miss by shooting to low :D

Right click the link and click "Save As" then choose a place to save it to and BAM!
go into triggers on the editor afterwards then right click the upper left windoe then libraries import library AND LOAD THE ONE YOU JUST SAVED :D
U only need to see ur traceline trigger and change the variable "range" to what u want
Normally, when u downloaded it, it's at 100. U can change it if u want...
OK, quad post, i figured out that (i have a computer player set currently) when the computer builds units it will not allow me to shoot the new units

had to set up re-occuring set new script to re-call "set unit height" trigger every 1.0 secconds of the game

can you please post your version? I kinda wanna try to make a TPS space game but I need something to work with :)
I'm confused.
I copied the triggers exactly. The only differance is that my map has my player as Nova instead of the ghost. The units are exactly the same.
But the shots won't hit them. All I can shoot is the terrain.
Also, I changed the sound to Nova's attack sounds. But, when the terrain is shot it still sounds like the ghost.
Please help?
When i shoot something, it deal damage... But in this map, this dosn't work ! Someone can tell me y and how to repair this ?
Edit : Ok, I found it... But now my 2nd question is : How can we attack enemy air units ?

How do you implement the melee Attack?

Do an event that calls for an "On Keypress" event, plays an animation, and triggers an ability with a very small range?
