We haven't had a Do That Doodad WTE in a bit, and I figured another one seems in order. For those who missed the previous ones (WTE #67, #77, #91, #99 and #123), the concept of 'Do that Doodad' is that I pick one doodad along with a minimum size, after which you are required to build any kind of terrain you like as long as it includes the doodad in question. This time, the doodad of choice is "HotS - Umojan Lab Cell Table" while the size is "At least 300". This means that you need to use the doodad 'HotS - Umojan Lab Cell Table' in your map with a size of at least 300 - aside from that you're free to terrain as you like.
Hoping to see what you guys come up with. Good luck, and have fun!
Ok so, I wanted to do something... I did something. It's ugly and not worth looking to. I did it rapidly and just wanted to sum up the last 3 WTEs as I did not participate in any of them. I think one of my problem is my comp. Here is why... WTE > Doodads Picture > Photoshop > New comp. To get some good WTE it would really help to finish my doodads pictures. To do that I need photoshop and to do that without wasting time waiting for lags I need a new comp. Without it, my WTEs are going to be mostly ugly just as this one. I don't like scrolling them all one by one and see how can I apply this to what I want to do. I just want to look at many doodads at once and say I want this one.
Anyway, I got the table, and I got Doodad #605 New Folsom Prison Tower. I also tried to make a kind of floating on lava armory, but guess what, it's not working at all. I think I prefered the WTE where you could place few doodads and only change lightning to get awesome effects.
Some kind of power grid, the middle area should be accessed by a mobile platform or a catwalk, but it didn't look fine at the moment I tried to put one.
EDIT: Or simply, the observation shall be done using the tiny windows up there !
Btw, how do I put the pic like the other did? I just joined SC2mapster, so that's why the pics are just there. I just dont know how the other did for putting their pic below their reply :(
The Weekly Terraining Exercise is just that - an exercise for anyone who likes to terrain to try his hand and exercise to become better. As such, any terrain is good enough to be uploaded. People here generally give criticism so you can improve. For instance; one thing I can easily note about your terrain is that you should place down clusters of objects rather than random Zerg doodads. If you want to improve that terrain easily, try adding some larger Zerg doodads near the cliffs and surrounding them with smaller ones rather than simply throwing smaller ones all over the place.

Hah, you have given me a good idea for next week's WTE, though!

What is it? I'm not a ghost with mind reading capabilities...

Hooray ! I did a quick try on this theme. I hope you enjoy :)

A breeding tank. Clever, I like the idea! I'm not entirely sure what the area on the low ground is supposed to be, though?

I figured it was some sort of security grid, in case the things growing in the tank got out.

I'm not sure if this is good eough or if I have made it correctly, but here it is :)
