From what I've tested, doodads which modify ground height, such as Broken Ground Edging or Redstone Rock Spires, seem to drastically reduce framerate in a map.
Can you check this?

I though that they didn't modify the terrain height, and instead just used the terrain textures where they are for parts of them.
