I'm currently working on a swamp map where some water will be passable and other wont. The way this works is that some of the water is very very shallow. After fiddling around with the object editor, I managed to remove the beach line waves. But when I test the map, the water shifts around a lot (basic waves), making this weird effect where some puddles just disappears and comes back in a cycle.
Is there any way to make the water sit still and not move around so much?
I thought I stated in the initial post that its not the shorelines or the beach lines I'm having trouble with. I'm having trouble with the water itself shifting around. It does this to create waves (like in an ocean), but when it keeps doing it in shallow water, it creates this weird effect where water rises and falls, and puddles disappears and comes back again.

I believe you also have to remove "Cliff Shoreline"

Can't you just edit the water options and put flowing speed to zero?

Ooh ok, my apologies. In that case, try playing with the water's "Texture Roughness" and "Mesh Roughness"

That did the trick, thanks :)
