Last week we had a first edition of 'do that doodad', which will be returning in the future; even though there as a bit of a lack of submissions, there was sill a lot of enthousiasm. For this week something more regular, though: in "We didn't start the fire" the aim is to create a jungle battlefield. Think the last campaign missions on Char, except on Bel'shir, Aiur or something similar. It's a simple idea, but I hope some of you might find it interesting to work with.
Thanks for this excercise. That was partly my idea from idea thread. Personnally I would start by simply changing tileset of some campaign mission. In this case Char -> Bel'Shir and change lava to water and lavafalls to waterfalls first then improve it by changing trees, rocks etc. Also it is interesting to create new terrain by keeping original cliffs but make doodad / tileset changes.
Also by doing terrain changes people may get some great ideas what that mission should have more such as new mission objectives etc.

I will post some screenshots later.
I didn't realize you came up with the same thing; came up with this myself. Your post does sound like something interesting though...
I started to make "All in" mission to Bel'Shir. I haven't done much actually - just changed tileset and replaced some doodads. Learned to use "Find/replace" at least :)
Map file attached. I deleted all triggers, regions and points etc. You can use this map if you want to.
Oooh, purdy! A job well done; it's a shame the Zerg/Terran conflict makes little sense in that environment, but I wouldn't mind trying the campaign map with that tileset. Also, welcome to Sc2Mapster, glad you joined in the WTE :)
Weekly Terraining Exercise #68
Greetings ladies and gentlemen!
Last week we had a first edition of 'do that doodad', which will be returning in the future; even though there as a bit of a lack of submissions, there was sill a lot of enthousiasm. Good luck either way!

@Terhonator: Go
I actually like that more in the belshir setting then in the Char, suits the xel'naga artifact better imo.
Got a great one. Lemme make it
5 Scenarios. Img 5 and 6 are before le warz
My fps was crying out in pain on the foggy ones
Felt like making an urban map overrun by jungles so...here it is! The Moebius Factor converted into an urban jungle (sort of still WIP).

Very nice, liking the small details (roots coming out of the building, hanging plants everywhere).

Here ya go:

War pigs with flamethrowers. Eeeeeeepic.
Here's my try!
@SheogorathSC: Go That looks amazing!
@Exaken: Go
Would look better with greener swampier looking water.
