Using the keys: 1234567890-= and backspace, you can change the team colour of certain doodads - look at this colony ship:
I must find out how to change the decal... Which hotkey is it!? Edit: Also works for wrecked ships and marine corpses
Or just use the Set Team Color event action on the Doodad type actor.
