Got a new computer and the system uses a solid state, so I'm using the D drive instead as my install directory, but I can't seem to find the editor. Any ideas?
Is it supposed to be in a sub-folder? Move it to the main folder (where the StarcraftII.exe is)
The SC2Editor.exe file is supposed to be in the Support folder, as well as the SC2Switcher.exe file (the real sc2.exe file). All exe files in the main directory are just shortcuts leading to the launcher first.
^ The files in the main folder are the SC2 from the launcher and the real editor. I always start them from there, idk why one would have to go to Support\ folder to start the editor and the game frm there
that makes no sense, idk how it is in Win 8 but the edtior and SC2 files should always be in where you install the game, in the main folder you install not any subfolders...

It should be right in your install directory? It is for me anyway. You may need to launch the game before it creates the shortcut or something?
I finally found it, buried deep within one of the subfolders. It refuses to launch.
What is the error message?
@EternalWraith: Go
None. It simply refuses to launch. I open it and nothing.
Tried launching it with administrator privileges? Speaking of which, what Windows are you on?
Tried to open it from within SC2 login menu? There is a open editor button onthe login screen.
@Mozared: Go Yes, I did try with admin privs... and... WINDOWS EIGHT
If you've tried everything in the thread without success I'd simply suggest reïnstalling or running the repair tool, something seems messed up...
