It's a video of islands that are destroyable. The island themselves don't look like they're made from cliffs. Just wondering how the islands were made, I don't care care about the destroying the islands, but that is cool. Just the floating island is what I care about.
I think its a wow model that was imported (the floating cliff) but I'm not sure how he got the units to walk on it. Maybe he painted pathing or something? That was made by Molsterr, by the way.

Dont know what model he used for the rocks could even be a reskinned SC2 doodad model tilted at the right angle. As for the pathing that can be done with a footprint like the Mar Sara bridge. The destruction of the islands is clearly based on when the central unit dies a hidden buff is added that adjusts the height of everything. The islands are probably a unit that is uncommandable and unselectable.
I just want to create the illusion of a floating island. I just don't know how to get the bottom to either be foggy like or make it dip far down so I can create something there.

I think he used hide terrain cells and used actor messages to make things look as if they fell down when you 'destroyed' the rock.
You should be able to find his post on the forum somewhere.

Also, the model is actualy a floating rock from world of warcraft. In case you want to use it, you should check 'netherstorm'.
