Heya, I got stuck on 2 things. Currently what is happening on my map is that the computer is attacking everything from point A to point B. But I notcied that the computer doesnt use the units to its advantege, just attacking straight to the target. What I wonder is if I can make the computer attack everything from point A to B but still use every units abilitys and to its advantage? For example High Templars use thier Psi Storms and he sends Overlords to scout and whatnot, maybe burrow roaches and move them underground etc?
My second question is, how do I make a trigger that makes every unit that enters a region, to become fully upgraded? I found how to give a unit a specific ability, but I didnt find how to make every unit that enters a region fully upgraded with the abilitys/upgrades that applies to them (for example I dont want Zerglin to have the zealot rush ability)
You'll have to make your own AI for that :) Currently the existing AI is too dumb for that kind of stuff, anyways >_>
Upgrades apply for all units of an unit type for a player. You could try changing the owner from "unupgraded person" to "upgraded person" or doing a shitload with actors, behaviours and stuff like that.
Sorry for being such a noob, but I cant seem to find where I change a player from unupgraded to upgraded person :( Though while looking through the player properties I saw that you can change the computer's AI to... computer? Whats the difference between Computer AI and default AI? Will it have an effect if he uses abilitys with units?
What I mean is: you create 2 players, and give one of them all the upgrades and the other none.
Then you change the owner of the unit to the upgraded player. This is the easiest way to do it as far as I know.
