So, I've been trying to make a Cortex Roleplay map... yeah, Cortex still has a heartbeat.
One part of this includes editing a game variant, and for some reason the Editor just doesn't want me getting my hands on the Category section. It's just grayed out and no matter what I do, I can't edit it. I want to edit the Name and Description in this section. I've looked and found nothing on forums, and every Editor video was able to edit the Category section as soon as the variant was added.
My question is, how do I do this? Is there some other option that needs to be enabled or something?

I'm not sure if those can be changed. I think it just has to match whatever the description is for the genre. It's possible the editor videos you saw were for an old version of the arcade/editor. Did you see any that were new?
Unfortunately, no. The most recent was two years ago. I know things have changed a lot since then, but I just found it strange that I couldn't find anyone else who had this problem, so I thought maybe it was solvable. Oh well, maybe I can work around this. Thanks for your time.

Thanks for replying, but the area is still grayed out for me.
What I want is to be able to edit the Name and Description in the Category, should've clarified in the OP... gonna fix that right now.
