I have no idea how to do it as I am a noob everything but I believe the best way would be to make a custom whatever the stuff floating over units is. Remove the energy bar and apply it to enemies of player triggering player or something. If you click of the unit it will still say the energy though.
For the default bars, you can either hide energy for all players, or all bars for the enemy, but not combined. You could hide them for all players and emulate an energy bar using text tags or dialogs maybe. But Reaper has a point: Afaik, you will always see the energy when selecting the enemy unit; even if you hide the energy bar.

Is this possible? Through any means necessary, I'd like to make a player's unit's energy bar only visible to the owning player.
