While I was making a map for 2 hours i slaved over a dialog that refused to be hidden. Then i decided that it was simply bugged. I was thinking over how to fix this bug and it occurred to me what do you do when your computer has bugged? you simply turn it off and restart it. so i copied, pasted and deleted the original trigger and suddenly the trigger worked. I am posting this just as a warning to people if a trigger is not working for no reason it could just be bugged like mine was =D. But it is most likely that you are taking the wrong approach, happy map making all!
The actual trigger are galaxy code, the GUI is just a nice way for you to manipulate it so when you delete/move/change a lot of actions at once, it may get messed up, old function not get cleared nor noticed by the GUI -> bugged trigger. I got that several times, simple save map, fully close and reopen it will fix
Yeah Ive had several instances of this within the data editor as well. While the editor is fairly complete there still seems to be some elusive bugs floating around that need to be squashed.
