I reduced the model size of some destructible rocks to 0.25. Its the perfect size for my map, however units path around it like they're full sized; meaning there's a big invisible wall surrounding all my destructible rocks.
Looks like this:
Does anyone know how I can reduce the pathing size to match the model? I've tried playing with footprints all night but no matter what I change I can't seem to get units to be able to get close to them.
Did you try both Pathing Footprint and Pathing Footprint - Placement? I think from the description of it Pathing Footprint - Placement should be what you want...
If you go to View > Pathing > and check Mesh and Unpathable Terrain it will show you where units can't go (the brown area not the red).
The red area shows which footprint squares are not 100% pathable.

I was playing with the foot print of a gateway,. All you do is go to the foot print and change the ammount of squares ( non table view)
vent2.gameservers.com 4241 I can explain it better here. This is ventrilo info, I have to use a tablet pc to type
Nice, I get off work in a couple of hours. If you're still on we'll chat :)
Bump. Here is clarification of what I'm trying to get.
So set the pathing footprint to "Pathing Footprint 1x1"
Is there some specific way of doing that that I'm missing? Here's what I did:
I just took the Pathing Footpring 1x1 and pasted its values into what I was using. Is there another way to just use the Pathing Footprint 1x1 instead?
If you search for footprint under the unit in the data editor you should be able to change it.
It can be edited, but my changes don't seem to do anything.
