Im trying to modify a normal archon so that it looks like a dark archon (the red one from sc1), i have the textures from the assets of sc2mapster.
The problem seem to be these constant errors, such as "No mapping for slot main.diffuse."
"TwistedArchon Dark_Archon_BW\Dark Archon BW\DarkArchonBW.m3; Could not find texture with id TwistedArchon_Emissive2 and expression"
Not sure what you mean with correctly, but i found some pointers in the resources of how they should be imported, m3 in root, and dds in assets/textures?
Already aware of case sensitivity ! :)
Affixes? Sorry, my naitive language is not english, is that the textboxes in the texture declaration? Where do i get what to write in the prefix, trigger on substring and slot? Cause i know i go into model data and get my information from there, but i seem to have missed something...
If i for example wanted to do the lightningzap under the DarkArchon model red, what would i write? Trigger on substring... Diffuse_? Prefix... Lightningszap4_R1Green_ ? Slot... main? I have no clue ^-^
I mean the Slot under textures and Texture: Texture Daclarations - Adaptions - Slot fields. Make sure both are the same.
For a start it should be _Diffuse, use the slot main.diffuse and if it still does not work use Lightningszap4_R1Green_Diffuse for both the prefix and trigger on substring. Sure there is an s before zap?

I don't know what im doing wrong really. Ive tried following the tutorial as much as ive been able to.

If they are editor only that happens all the time. If they are not showing up ingame then there is a potential issue.
Make sure your texture and declared slot have the right affixes.
Did you import the texture correctly?
Some textures need the full path name to be listed to work (capitals are important)!
