You can remove the response flags on the damage effect. That will prevent units from reacting in any way. However, that applies to *all* units hit by those effects, so use with care.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to do that. I think you can just set the damage response in the unit to defensive, offensive, passive or none. Try all of those, because 1 of those responses will make the unit do nothing in response. Modifying the damage effect will make any unit hit by that weapon not react.
Is there anyway to stop the AI from making your units retaliate when attacked? Or just stop the AI from affecting the Humans units at all?
under the data editor under the unit and under combat - Default Acquire level to defensive, offensive, passive or none.
Well that seems to have stopped him... but now he just runs away. Can that be fixed in a similar way?

Thanks. That did it.... The data editor is still quite confusing to me. Hopefully I'll start to catch on soon.
