This patch certainly threw a monkey wrench into a good amount of what I had done in my map(s).
I think I'll just wait 20 days before attempting anything major.
Well this certainly kills any hope of me finishing my map in time for the contest. It's going to be at least a week to put this all back together, and I still have a bunch more that I need to have done before release day...
I have little modified Blizzard content, thank gods. Of course, what little I have is because it was too annoying to recreate like the broodling weapon. It's still too annoying so I guess I'll remove it.
It's a good lesson, though: it's better that it happens now than a year down the road when HotS comes out...
I'm scared for downloading the patch now. I JUST edited all of my units yesterday and it took all day. -.-' I was only dealing with triggers and terrain up until yesterday and I'd rather not have to edit the units a second time the day after I edited the units. :-/
by the way, for those that didn't patch yet, can you open the editor and link the path of the leaderboard frames and borders (the texture files), perhaps blizzard changed them with this patch and that's why they aren't showing up anymore.
Gahhhh!!! I have many custom upgrades in my map, and I cant even view them in the data editor now. Every time I try to bring up an upgrade, my editor freezes and then crashes. I can't even delete the upgrade!
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Edit: I've fixed it! I CAN view the upgrade when viewed as raw data! After switching to raw data, go to the upgrade, and clear the effects. Now switch back to the normal view and it doesn't crash! Hooray!

Just pull them out of the MPQ archives. If you don't know how then get WINMPQ.

Same problem with me. I'll look into that raw data thing.
Update Camera
Events
Timer - Every 0.0001 seconds of Game Time
Local Variables
Angle = 0.0 <Real[12]>
Conditions
Actions
Player Group - Pick each player in (Active Players) and do (Actions)
Actions
Variable - Set Angle[(Picked player)] = (Current camera yaw of player (Picked player))
Unit - Make Main Unit[(Picked player)] face Angle[(Picked player)] over 0.0 seconds
Camera - Set the camera bounds for (Player group((Picked player))) to Camera[(Picked player)] (Do Not adjust the Mini map)
the camera yaw doesn't even work now :( how am i gonna do my 3rd person movement :(

Already patched the game, i don't want the files, i just want to know what the previous path was so i can make the path of the new ones the same, maybe then the game will load the leaderboard image and borders cause right now they show up as missing.

Now I'm vindicated for not using any modified base content in my maps.
So, did you make new doodads too? :D
I call that whining on a high niveau.
I would love to play my (now bugged) maps but beta's not up yet :/
^.^

QFT.
On my latest map, almost nothing is broken. Working from scratch FTW.
With custom unit costs, the fix is as easy as setting the "cost" in the data editor to 0 for that unit.
Solution for screen button found:
That would do it. Do the same with flash border image if you use flash action

Idea: save your map as xml, load map into new version, see what the unit IDs have changed to, modify them in your xml files, load xml files, pray.
Anyone able to log into battlnet using the editor for publishing?
So anyone tried the xml thing? I really dont want to redo all the stats. I had a lot of them.

Timer windows are an obnoxious blue/teal color and also borderless after the patch?
