In the map I am creating I have several probes that I'd like to easily differentiate between when doing the triggers part of the map. Currently they are all listed as 'Probe' when trying to select a unit for a trigger I am setting up and I cannot easily tell the difference between units, aside from using their location (which seems rather cumbersome.)
Is there a way to give each unit a unique label (IE: Probe1, Probe2, Probe3, etc) so that I can quickly and efficiently tell the difference between units while in the editor?
Another way would be to assign a custom value to each unit. You can store a real number in any of the values, and I believe they range from -524 288 to 524 288 in increments of 1/4096.
So it would be something like
real x = -524 288.0
Unit is Created
x += 1/4096
Set (Last Created Unit) Custom Value 0 to (x)
myProbe1 = x
With a range of 32 bits, you can assign unique Ids to all your units and never worry about running out.

@Fox1337LL: Go
set the different units to variables
global variables
ProbetUnits (type:unit array:[0-3])
@Fox1337LL: Go
Are you the real Fox1337 from LL?
@SouLCarveRR: Go Cool, I'll play around with this when I have the time and hopefully will be able to figure it out! Thanks!
@A52BcE: Go The one and only.
