there doesn't appear to be a way to search the strings in the text editor. where do i find the strings for the resource tooltips?
I cant seem to find the food tool tip. I'm trying to change it back to the old Control/Psi/Food thing from BW. afaik it is currently just 'food' no matter your race. Kind of pisses me off constantly seeing it and seeing as how I'm doing a BW remake I want to change it.
I go by showing all text values (care: laggs like hell) and then sort by text entry. This way all text is alphabetically sorted and you should be able to find the desired text (if you know the text exactly, of course)
I wouldn't mind blizzard adding a search, though...
How do you edit what it says when you hover over the minerals/gas/food when in game?
I thought it would be in Gameplay Data or Game UI Data in the Data Editor, but it wasn't.
Text editor.
Thanks! Didn't even know that existed lol
Also, you can make Terrazine and custom resources be display by food and minerals.
How to you add a tooltip to the Terrazine?
How do you remove the food icon from the UI in game?
Bump for an answer on this one, I am interested as well.
Go to your trigger editor and add a "UI - Show/Hide UI Frame" action. Choose "Supply Frame" as the argument and you're set.
That worked!! Thanks man :D

texy: all data: Ui/resourcessupplytooltip for supply tooltip (but you can find all the resources nearby)
Any text strings from the game can be edited. Check here

The only problem is to find out where it is
