If you want it to have the weapon's damage and attributes, then just change the Weapons+ field of the Zealot.
If you want to graphically give it to the Zealot, then you'll have to ask a modeler to modify the models or do it yourself.
There's no way to just take it and give it to somebody else. Sadly. Would make SC2 twice as awesome.
Maybe in the final version of the editor we'll actually be able to cannibalize models like that. :O
If that happens I promise I will never critizise blizzard again.
But seeing how the models work (they do just like in WC3) I'd be more than surprised if they did so, hence the reason I promised that.

How do I get the zealot to have the Dark Templar's scythe?

Clouds of doubt and unlikeliness starts to cover the website "sc2mapster"
Wasn't there a project to do just that? I seem to remember someone deconstructing doodads and removing weapons, putting them into separate models.
