I have the starting point set to a different spot on the map for player one. However, everytime I test the map out my view starts in the bottom left of the screen contrary to where player 1 starting point is. How do I get the initial starting view to be at the same place as the starting point?
You need to create a trigger that iterates through each active player and pan the camera to their start point (instantly). The game only does it by default as part of the standard melee triggers, once you override those, you need to do it yourself :)
Camera - Zoom camera for player player at (Start location of player player) from ((Real(Default Camera Distance)) + 8.0) to Default Camera Distance over 0.5 seconds
Thats the one I'm using "Zoom Camera" is what your looking for.

Ok excellent! Do you happen to know what that trigger is called? I can't seem to find it.

Perfect! Thank you

I'd like to thank you too. I didn't know the Zoom action also performs a move camera action.
