i tried to copy the morphing stuff from a spire or a hatchery, but it didnt worked like it should.
here is what i have and what i need..
i have an building (spawning pool) and added some buttons to its command card.
what i want the building to do now is, to just disappear if i click that button, and replace it with an other one, like an hydralisk den.
the hydralisk den has to be built with animation, but in like 5 seconds (okay, thats not the problem, i can do that)
i ttried to "copy" the style a spire uses to evolve to a greater spire, like i said.
the spawning pool then evolves but is 1. still there and 2. the pool and the spire are ONE building now, but there are 2 hitpoint bars.
i just need it simple, like "if click that button remove unit X and add unit Y into that region" just that adding then ew one needs the build animation for it.
my head is already smoking like hell, and i cant get together what i need to do this.. so much stuff, for just replaceing an simple building, cant be that much work.
Once you get used to messing with the events and morphing buildings you can get pretty fast at it. It may seem like a lot of work but that's the price we pay for having so much more freedom in the editor. Just follow the guide in this link, it's easy than it looks Morphing Buildings Guide

You need to modify the events on the actors involved and add: Morph..finish morph from UNITNAME morph to UNITNAME2 Destroy to the spawning pool
isnt there an complete easyier way to do this?

Hey i have another morphing related problem. When my tower upgrades to rank 2 it has no weapons(yes it been added to the unit)

now i just need to know how to give it an build animation.. but thats not that important.

Did you add the ability to the unit as well? Not just the weapon? - Thats an easy thing to miss.
