Hi, newbie mapper here. It is pretty well known that hiding the game UI disables the hotkeys. However, I found that the games bottom UI Panel is actually a 3D Model that can be viewed in the previewer. My theory was that if we can locate the UI's 3D Model in the Data Editor and edit it, say, changing the models opacity or sth, use it in conjunction with the 'Hide UI Frame' trigger we'd be able to get around this hotkey problem. Only problem is, I can't find the model. Or has this already been thought of before but is flat out impossible?
Although the 3D Models do exist, I do not believe that they are assigned to any Model data. Thus, what you are speaking of is essentially not possible, since the instanced 3D models ingame are basically something you don't have access to.
Someone on this forum talked of moving the common UI FRAME out of screen, so that the hotkeys still works and a custom interface can be used. Anyone know if this is possible ?
