The best way I would think of doing it is by making region. Then within that region make a bunch of circles close together slowly increasing radius. Then attach the region to the unit, and reveal the region using terrain check.
Thanks for the help, but I was actually hoping to apply this to all units on the map at all times. Would it be possible to do this via data? I'm working on a horror type map and this could really increase the immersion that I'm aiming for :|

The red oval is how I would like the sight to be, almost like the unit has a flashlight. How would I go about creating this effect (If possible)?
