read tutorials if you're noobish. everyone else here either had to figure it out themselves or read tutorials. If it is simply handed to you you will never learn and you will always need help.
edit: I guess I was a little rude, here's what you'll have to do.
Take the marine and edit it's actor to use the tauren marine model instead of the regular marine model. You should also replace it's sounds.
OR
Edit the barracks and replace the build marine button with teh build tauren marine button.
It should work if you just change the model for the marine actor. Specify WHAT is grayed out. Thats an important bit of info. Don't forget to include the campagin dependencies so the taruen model will be there.
yes dependencies are enabled.. the "modify" is greyed out
and if i go to actors.. and i want to modify there, the auren nor the murloc are on the drop down menu... although if i go to units i can find both and also place them on the terrain
btw: as i manged to somehow change it like 9 hours ago in a map.. i have tons of people asking me how to do it, so once i have a deathproof way to do it, i shall post a tutorial here
Thats normal. You have to duplicate it to modify stuff. Normally, at least. So right click, duplicate. Then change the DUPLICATES model to tauren marine. Go back to the marine model and change "token- unit" to "none"..that should work.
OMG i totally forgot I made a tutorial that might be helpful for you..
Go into the data editor-> Find the Marine in the Unit data type-> In the field below where you selected the Marine (With the actors and such), scroll down till you see Models and click Marine-> Scroll down until you see "View in previewer", and, above the are that shows the Marine, click browse-> Select the TaurenSpacemarine model.
Run a test map. Build one at a bunker. If a tauren pops out, you did it right.
But about the "normal melee map" bit: I'm not sure marines will remain in their edited state if the map is run in melee mode, but I can't be arsed to test it so don't believe me.
Uhhh... Consider starting from scratch? I looked at your map and couldn't find any issues other than the model for the Tauren Marine being a solid black circle. If starting over isn't an option you could make a test map with it working correctly and copy the data over.
You realize if you change anything other than the terrain tilesets or lighting in a melee map in terms of data that it becomes a custom map right? Changing the model would not make it a melee map anymore. That being said, to change it you go to the actors tab with campaign dependencies enabled and search 'model' under the marine. Change it to the Tauren Marine's and your essentially done. If you want a complete model set you'd have to change the other models etc to that of Tauren Marine's.
can anyone point me out how to do this ?

its just for a normal melee map, no need for triggers or fancy, jusr replacing the model for the marines

i somehow managed it before, i just cant repeat it as i simply addes tauren marine to anything marine like i saw.

i tried with test maps, i dont get it done again, anything i try fails or doesnt produce the wanted result
i now fear i damaged my game files

You can't damage the game files using the editor. If you messed up bigtime, just delete the map and start over.

that would be logical, indeed, but if i do that, the modify is Greyed out
good lord, someone can try this and like, post 3 easy steps with pictures ? i would be more than grateful.. its keepingme from sleeping too :(
